What are the minimum requirements for travelling whilst pregnant?

Medical clearance is required for travel after the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Please produce a certificate or letter from a registered medical practitioner or registered midwife advising:

  • the estimated date of delivery;
  • whether it is a single or multiple pregnancy; and
  • that there are no complications with the pregnancy.

For more details, please refer to article 3.4 of the NokScoot Conditions of Carriage.

Please note, NokScoot does not represent that travel is safe for you at any particular point during your pregnancy. Please obtain independent medical advice prior to your flight. The periods mentioned above and in the NokScoot Conditions of Carriage are only our minimum requirements. Some countries place limitations on the entry of non-national pregnant women. Please check with the relevant embassy or consulate before you travel to ascertain the limitations.
